Conventional wisdom is a trap. It tells you that if it’s working, you shouldn't touch it. Stay in the box. Keep the machine running. But I’ve never been good at following the script. This album was my rebellion against my own success. I stripped away the safety nets and started singing into the static. I let the production go to places I’d never dared to visit.

It was a flex of creative muscle, certainly, but it was also a reckoning. For the first time, I stopped asking how to make a hit and started asking why I was making music at all. Beyond the money and the noise, what was the point? This project wasn't just a sonic experiment. It was the start of a deep, internal interrogation that hasn't stopped to this day.
